Waylon Bacon is a self taught filmmaker and cartoonist. His film work includes the gruesome and satirical "Help Wanted", and the music video for the Lumerians song 'Life Without Skin'. As a cartoonist he was worked as a storyboard artist on such films as 2012's 'Excision', and contributed numerous covers for the literary magazine Beatdom.

He is currently responsible for 'Frownland', a weekly webcomic that combines his love of 'The New Yorker' and 'Zap! Comix', as well as the short film 'The Ride'.

Originally from the Bay Area, he currently resides in Los Angeles, CA despite an aversion to sunlight and strip malls.
